    THEORY

The Double Cut was built with the intention to bridge the gap between a grovler and a step down performance board.  The wider than usual outline gives this board great paddling speed and drive down the line. The double step in the tail decreases width and facilitates a shorter turning radius. The concaves and rocker are a blend of both small and big wave performance designs. This give this board the ability to perform well in a broad range of condions.

    TAIL

The Rounded Squash is a softer version of a squash tail. A nice combination of a rounded pin and a squash tail. Allows for easy turn initiation with plenty of hold. This designs also reduces the tail width to help decrease the turning radius. This tail is fast, maneuverable and extremely versatile. Works well in a variety of conditions.

    RAIL

    Low Rail
Medium profile rail provides hold. The slight increase in volume gives the board a more forgiving feel and lessens the chance of you catching your edge or digging your rail.

    FINS

Standard with 5 fin configuration. Gives you the option of a quad or 3 fin set up. Your choice of FCS or Future plugs.

    WAVE

    Wave Heights
This Board was design to perform in knee high to head high waves. All conditions from mushy chop to A-frame barrels.

    CORE

Polyurethane foam – more responsive in its performance and flex pattern. Creates a consistent traditional feel. The least expensive option, less durable.

Extruded polystyrene foam – lighter weight results in ability to glass boards heavier making them more durable. More expensive process and is less responsive in flex pattern and creates a more sensitive feel.

    GLASS

    Fiberglass
    PU Glassing:
4×4 oz deck (full patch), 4 oz bottom – light weight and weak
4×6 oz deck (3/4 patch), 4 oz bottom – light weight and strong
4×6 oz deck (full patch), 4 oz bottom – light weight and very strong
    EPS Glassing:
4×6 oz deck (full patch), 4 oz bottom – light weight and strong
6×6 oz deck (full patch), 6 oz bottom – light weight and extremely strong

    CARBON

    Carbon fiber
Carbon fiber – will stiffen flex and create positive flex recoil. Helps prevent breakage and pressure dents from your feet.

    ROCKER

    Double Cut Rocker
    Exit Medium High Rocker

Moderate exit rocker is a comfortable balance between drive and release. Suits largest range of conditions and surfers.

    Mid Low Medium Rocker

Low mid rocker results that carries speed, and stable consistent over all feel. Works well in weaker, less powerful surf.

    Entry Medium Low Rocker

Low entry rocker creates a board that will provide speed and drive with minimal effort. Works best in knee to chest-high, less powerful surf.

    CONCAVES

    Double Cut Hull
    Vee Hull Symbol

Vee creates remarkable rail to rail performance. Helps compensate maneuverability for boards with a wider outline.

    Double Hull Symbol

Lite Double concave directs water through the tail of the board. Provides speed, lift, and maneuverability. Performs best in hollow more powerful waves.

    Single Hull Symbol

Medium Single directs water under the hull. Provides speed, lift, and maneuverability.  Performs in the broadest spectrum of conditions.

    Flat Hull Symbol

Flat is generally used as the starting or ending point for all concaves. It provides a stable feel and speed without have much effect on performance, but also no draw backs.
