    THEORY

The Flat Plate was designed as an all around alternative board. Designed from the remnant of a 1970’s fish. This board is versatile and fun to play around with in beach break mush or long, point style waves. The added volume and width helps this design paddle and carry you through flat sections with ease. You should be able to size this board 6 to 8 inches shorter than a standard performance board.

    TAIL

The Squash tail allows for easier turn initiation and reduced width allows the tail to be buried easily in the waves face. This tail is fast, maneuverable and extremely versatile. Works well in a variety of conditions.

    RAIL

Full profile rail provides a very soft and forgiving feel. Helps to give a board speed and float. Less chance for the rider to dig or catch a rail, but also can bob on powerful turns.

    FINS

Standard with 4 fin configuration. Gives you the option of a quad or twin fin setup. Your choice of FCS, Futures, or Glass-On fins.

    WAVE

This Board was design to perform in knee high to overhead waves. Performs best in small and larger laid back waves.

    CORE

    Core
Polyurethane foam – more responsive in its performance and flex pattern. Creates a consistent traditional feel. The least expensive option, less durable.

    GLASS

    Fiberglass
4×4 oz deck (full patch), 4 oz bottom – light weight and weak
4×6 oz deck (3/4 patch), 4 oz bottom – light weight and strong

    CARBON

    Carbon fiber
Carbon fiber – will stiffen flex and create positive flex recoil. Helps prevent breakage and pressure dents from your feet.

    ROCKER

    Flat Plate Rocker
    Exit Low Rocker

Flat exit rocker is good for maintaining speed and providing a stiffer, more forgiving feel. Performs well in knee to chest-high surf and can handle full rail, fast turns.

    Mid Low Rocker

Low mid-rocker results in a board that carries speed and has stable, consistent overall feel. Works well in weaker, less powerful conditions.

    Entry Low Rocker

Low entry rocker creates a board that will provide speed and drive with minimal effort. Works best in knee to chest-high, less powerful surf.

    CONCAVES

    Flat Plate Hull
    Double Hull Symbol

Lite Double concave that starts a few inches behind the wide point and gradually deepens to a medium Double concave through the tail. Provides, speed, lift and maneuverability. Performs better in weak, flatter surf.

    Vee Hull Symbol

Vee creates remarkable rail to rail performance. Helps compensate maneuverability for boards with a wider outline.
