    THEORY

I made this alternative board purely for fun. The design is similar to a twin tip snowboard that’s just fun for playing around in the park. The stubbed toe is a board for just playing around in the wave park like a little kid. The chopped offnose helps compensate for the width by removing the nose weight so you can just toss it around. It has a flat rocker throught out, which makes this design excell in mushy small waves. You can carve this board, do tricks, and have fun in waves that you normally wouldn’t even give a thought about surfing.

    TAIL

The Squash tail allows for easier turn initiation and reduced width allows the tail to be buried easily in the waves face. This tail is fast, maneuverable and extremely versatile. Works well in a variety of conditions.

    RAIL

Full profile rail provides a very soft and forgiving feel. Helps to give a board speed and float. Less chance for the rider to dig or catch a rail, but also can bob on powerful turns.

    FINS

    Fins
Standard with 5 fin configuration. Gives you the option of a quad or 3 fin set up. Your choice of FCS or Future plugs.

    WAVE

This Board was design to perform in knee high to head high waves. Performs best in mushy chop and smaller performance conditions.

    CORE

Polyurethane foam – more responsive in its performance and flex pattern. Creates a consistent traditional feel. The least expensive option, less durable.
Extruded polystyrene foam – lighter weight results in ability to glass boards heavier making them more durable. More expensive process and is less responsive in flex pattern and creates a more sensitive feel.

    GLASS

    Fiberglass
    PU Glassing:
4×4 oz deck (full patch), 4 oz bottom – light weight and weak
4×6 oz deck (3/4 patch), 4 oz bottom – light weight and strong
4×6 oz deck (full patch), 4 oz bottom – light weight and very strong
    EPS Glassing:
4×6 oz deck (full patch), 4 oz bottom – light weight and strong
6×6 oz deck (full patch), 6 oz bottom – light weight and extremely strong

    CARBON

    Carbon fiber
Carbon fiber – will stiffen flex and create positive flex recoil. Helps prevent breakage and pressure dents from your feet.

    ROCKER

    Stubbed Toe Rocker
    Exit Medium Low Rocker

Low exit rocker creates a board that will hold a rail on hard turns while maintaining speed. Performs well in knee to head-high condition and weaker, less powerful surf.

    Mid Low Rocker

Low mid rocker results in a board that carries speed, and has a stable consistent over all feel. Works well in weaker less powerful surf.

    Entry Low Rocker

Low entry rocker creates a board that will provide speed and drive with minimal effort. Works best in knee to chest-high, less powerful surf.

    CONCAVES

    Stubbed Toe Hull
    Double Hull Symbol

Deep Double concave helps direct water through the hull. Provides speed, lift and maneuverability. Performs better in weak, flatter surf.

    Vee Hull Symbol

Vee creates remarkable rail to rail performance. Helps compensate maneuverability for boards with a wider outline.

    Flat Hull Symbol

Flat is generally used as the starting or ending point for all concaves. Flat is stable and fast without having much effect on performance but also has no draw backs.
